Certification Grants
The Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN) provides a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN®) Certification Grant and Recertification Grant to AMSN members through the Scholarships & Grants program. Each grant is awarded semi-annually and covers the full cost of application at member rate.

Certification Grant
Have your CMSRN certification exam fee covered by AMSN! The Certification Grant is awarded to twelve members of AMSN annually, six in the summer and six in the winter. The grant awards the equivalent to the application fee for members.
Recertification Grant
Have your CMSRN recertification fee covered by AMSN! The Recertification Grant is awarded to twelve members of AMSN annually, six in the summer and six in the winter. The grant awards the equivalent to the application fee for members.
Deadlines
Summer: Application must be completed by May 31 annually, and applicants are notified by July 15 annually.
Winter: Application must be completed by November 30 annually, and applicants are notified by January 25 annually.
