Recertification Fees
Application Fee
These fees include a non-refundable application fee of $75.00. Membership in our affiliated membership association Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN) must be current through your certification expiration date. You can join or renew your membership through the AMSN website here.

Late Application Fee
$75.00 (nonrefundable) For applications postmarked after the certification expiration date. Late applications are accepted for one (1) year after the expiration. No applications will be accepted after the one (1) year grace period. There are no exceptions or extensions to this time frame. After this extension, recertification through MSNCB must then be obtained by examination.
Returned Check Fee
$30.00 Any applicant whose personal check is returned for insufficient funds is required to pay this fee. Payment of fees must then be made by money order, certified check, or credit card.
