You can begin to track your contact hours early in your certification career. MSNCB helps by offering two easy options for tracking your progress toward recertification.
Track Your Contact Hours Online
Use MSNCB's online, self-reported contact hour tracking system. Contact hours earned through the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses (AMSN) will automatically appear in this system and you may enter other contact hours you've earned.
Downloadable Excel Spreadsheet
MSNCB has developed an Excel Spreadsheet that will tally your contact hours. We've set it up to look just like the MSNCB Contact Hour Documentation Form. When ready to renew your certification, just complete the spreadsheet and print it out. It's that easy! There are 3 worksheets in the file:
