Online Tracker Makes Your Recertification Easier Than Ever

Great news for CMSRNs! Your recertification has just become faster and easier. MSNCB now offers an online recertification process that allows you to track your contact hours over the 5-year certification period. Then, when you are eligible, you apply for recertification online. We hope you take advantage of this new streamlined paperless feature.

Specialty Nursing Certification Advocacy Project Moves Nursing Forward

Nicole Ervin and Gentry Brown are two of nine advocates selected by MSNCB to attend the Specialty Nursing Certification Advocacy Workshop in Chicago, IL, this past April. The workshop is part of a project designed to have specialty nursing certifications and their requirements replace state mandated continuing education unit requirements.

MSNCB President Mimi Haskins, MS, RN, CMSRN, has received the prestigious 2014 Ruth T. McGrorey Award for leadership in nursing from the Western New York Professional Nurses Association (WNYPNA). The award honors a WNYPNA member for innovation and outstanding contributions to nursing. Congratulations Mimi for a well-deserved spotlight!


Time to Get Pinned

CMSRN pin You may not want to wear your heart on your sleeve, but you can certainly wear your CMSRN credential on your lapel! MSNCB now has pins for recertified CMSRNs indicating the number of years certified (5-year pin or 10-year pin). If you're about to recertify, you will receive your pin with your certificate.
