Hot Opportunity: Take Pilot Exam for Care Coordination Certification

MSNCB will pilot test the new Care Coordination and Transition Management (CCTM) certification exam this spring. If you are an RN with a CCTM role, you can take the pilot exam for free. The test, which is a portion of the preliminary exam, will give you a sneak peek at the exam and give you your results.

Catching Fire: The MSNCB FailSafe Program™
FailSafe logo
Only pay when you succeed, guaranteed

As you may have heard, MSNCB has a certification program that doesn't charge facilities a penny until their nurses pass the CMSRN® exam. The program has been a huge success (click here to read more), so we're excited to share this feedback with you from a Texas nurse.

Juanita Hernandez, MSN, RN, CMSRN
Nurse Manager
Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital
'The first nurses who applied to the FailSafe Program have tested and passed their certification and it has been a huge success! It has ignited a fire in the others and they are jumping on board (as we knew they would)! By month's end, we will have doubled our number of certified nurses and perhaps quadruple it by year's end! Thank you for helping our hospital get this set up and I wanted to tell you that it made a huge difference!'

The Impact of Hospital Malnutrition is Costly

Alliance Do you know how malnutrition in hospitalized patients increases medical complications, complications that are nursing sensitive indicators? Review and share the information on this infographic, (PDF) and discuss ways to improve nutrition care with your colleagues.
