Once your application has been reviewed and processed, you will return to your exam receipt and follow instructions provided for your Authorization to Test. Next, schedule your computer-based testing (CBT) exam at a Prometric testing center.
Authorization to Test (ATT)
Your ATT will provide a 90-day period within which to schedule and take your exam. It will also contain information about how to schedule your exam. Be sure to schedule your exam appointment as soon as possible, even if you plan to test towards the end of the 90-day period. Exam dates will vary by location and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your registration receipt contains a link called “certification application” and serves as your ATT. Depending on your application review, you may be able to schedule an exam same day and up to 3 days after submitting your application. If you’re unable to schedule an exam date, MSNCB may need to collect further information from you. If you are unable to schedule your exam within 1 week, contact MSNCB at email@example.com.

If you are testing outside of your country of citizenship, you must present a valid passport. If you are testing within your country of citizenship, you must present either a valid passport, driver's license, national ID or military ID. Temporary paper copies are unacceptable.
Your name on your Prometric confirmation page must match your government issued photo ID. If they do not match, contact MSNCB immediately.
There is no charge for changing an appointment within the same testing period if the change is made more than 15 days in advance of your current appointment. If rescheduling between 6-15 days of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged $25 at the time the change is made. You will not be permitted to reschedule your exam within 5 days of a scheduled exam.
