MSNCB is seeking individuals who are currently certified in CCCTM to participate in CCCTM test development activities, which include item writing and item review.
The Item Writer’s role is to write test questions for the CCCTM examination. This commitment is (1) one weekend per year for a (3) three-year term. The committee meets over a weekend at the MSNCB National Office in NJ. The 2018 meeting will take place October 26-28. The travel day is Thursday with the meeting taking place Friday-Sunday. The travel day home is Sunday. Future meeting dates will be determined.
The Item Reviewer's role is to review test items for the CCCTM certification examination. This commitment is (1) one weekend at the MSNCB National Office in NJ. The 2018 meeting is scheduled for October 26-28. The travel day is Thursday with the meeting taking place Friday-Sunday. The travel day home is Sunday. This commitment is complete after the meeting, or it may be extended to a term for three years through October 2021 and may be renewed.
Meeting travel expenses for both groups will be paid by MSNCB.
Required qualifications to participate on either volunteer group includes:
- Minimum of (3) three years’ experience in a care coordination and transition management (CCTM) role with at least (2) two years' experience in a CCTM role in the last 5 years
- CCCTM certified
- BSN or higher preferred
- Committee experience preferred
- Knowledge of test development and item construction preferred
Members of either volunteer group will be required to sign a Conflict of Disclosure and Confidentiality Statement prior to participation.
